Fun Daze is all about having fun, we don’t focus on winning, we focus on progression and achieving personal goals.

Our founder Fiona Mackenzie is a former Australian ice hockey and state inline player. With over 40 years of skating experience, Fiona began her skating journey with quad speed skating in the 80's, played ice and inline hockey at an elite level from the 90's to 2010, played roller derby and was a bouting player for the Byron Bay Rollers from 2010 to 2013. In 2019, her passion for skating continued and began freestyle park skating. Fiona says " At 49 years old, I didn't think I'd be dropping into skate bowls and doing tricks in half pipes on my roller skates."

The Fun Daze program is structured around the foundations of skating influenced by  U.S, Canadian and European ice hockey coaching techniques.
